When surveys show that 79% of employees who quit their jobs cite a lack of appreciation as a key reason for leaving (Barasha Medhi - VantageCircle.com) and that 89% of bosses believe employees quit because they want more money... meanwhile, only 12% actually do leave for money (Leigh Branham, “The 7 Hidden Reasons Employees Leave”), there is clearly a significant disconnect, and very costly mistakes being made. It doesn't have to cost a lot to boost engagement and productivity, but managers need to know how to effectively motivate and appreciate in order to reap the benefits and results. This course teaches managers simple and effective ways to embed recognition and reward practices into their daily operations.
