Castaway Soirée Sponsorships

Greetings!
 
We are PtG (Place to Gather) Community Center, a 501(c)(3) community organization in Spring Grove, Illinois. Our mission is to provide a place to gather in order to serve, empower, and connect the community.  We believe in enhancing the quality of life of everyone in our area, while promoting growth and joy.  To bring our mission to life, we are creating a playscape where all generations and all abilities can have fun side by side.  It will be a place full of inquisitive adventures and inspiring outdoor fun where all feel they are welcome and belong.
 
Based on the 1812 shipwrecked adventure novel by Johann David Wyss, the Swiss Family Robinson Adventure Playground will be more than just a playground. It will be an invigorating, naturally inspired playscape featuring open-ended play, an ADA accessible shipwreck and 3-story treehouse (ground, 1st floor, 2nd floor), parallel play, quiet resting places, sensory garden, and more! It will meld the wonders of nature with the excitement of a playground for babies through the elderly of all abilities. 
 
In order to make this amazing playscape a reality, we are hosting a Castaway Soirée on June 21st at The Shores of Turtle Creek in Spring Grove. It is to be an immersive shipwrecked castaway experience (think Gilligan’s Island meets an interactive encounter).  This event will be attended by over 150 supporters and have visibility to over 50 local business owners and countless community members.  It will be a fun, adventurous evening to raise money for a cause bigger than our ourselves. We have also been given a matching grant of $500,000* for all monetary donations given before July 31, 2025. All of the proceeds from this amazing event will be doubled (up to $500,000) and go towards the construction of the intergenerational all-inclusive Swiss Family Robinson Adventure Playground.
